I’ve got a ton of photos to edit from the past week – Keukenhof, Queensday, Kinderdijk, and Rome from February – but I’m getting tired of my last post on here, so I need to update.

In Belgium, the Royal family opens their greenhouses for two weeks each year for tours (for only 2.50 euros). This happened to be last week, so Reid and I went. The greenhouses and flowers were gorgeous.

There were 11 greenhouses in the tour, each beautifully landscaped and covered with flowers, even hanging from the ceiling. The flower fragrance was wonderful. The architecture was nice too – it felt very delicate and ornate.

These were my favorite flowers there – they looked like flowers within flowers.

This is me outside the palace. Unfortunately, we did not get to tour it.

Part of the tour walked us through the back gardens.  They were simple, but very pretty with all the trees in bloom.

I always think this kind of plant is so pretty, and this particular one had such huge flowers on it.

I debated if I should delete this photo since it’s blurry, but actually, I like the effect – it feels breezy to me.

I’m really glad I got to visit this while it was open this year. If you’d like to see more photos, check them out on Flickr:
