Every Spring, for about two weeks, the Hallerbos forest is covered with a carpet of bluebells. Last weekend, Thomas and I rode out there to see it. We took his motorcycle along beautiful country roads – it’s only about an hour and a half from Brussels. The forest was very pretty – with patches of blue, white, and pink flowers.

Your pictures are gorgeous! As it happens I talked to someone only this morning who had been there yesterday as well! I’ve wanted to see them for three years now, and I haven’t had the chance yet. This weekend we went to Haspengouw ( St Truiden and surroundings), it’s a region with an abundance of fruit trees, and they’re in bloom too right now.
