I cannot even remember how I stumbled on your website, but I started exploring your archives. So, I'm not sure you'll even see this comment because it is an older post.

Anyway, since you are in Belgium - I recommend this blog: http://www.kayotickitchen.com/

The author is Dutch (and in Amsterdam), but she seems to have a tendancy for foods that appeal to my American palatte - also, her use and explanation of ingredients might help you to identify things in Belgian grocery stores that are similar to foods Americans are familiar with eating (although Dutch and French look nothing alike on packaging!)

Good luck.

Hey Dallas,
I really like www.smittenkitchen.com She takes some really good photos. I sometimes also read www.thekitchn.com

Did you just use natural light for your photo? I am constantly trying to get good lighting like that but with the lack of sun in Brussels it is hard. However, I hate using my flash.

Emily´s last blog post..You Tube Videos

The pioneer woman website is one that Brandi uses alot, too. She likes it because there are pictures that show you what the recipe should look like in progress as well as the finished product.

Not a blog, but I use www.allrecipes.com a lot because I can search by what ingredients I have on hand and the user reviews are usually really helpful with suggestions and alternatives.

Oh, and we've been drooling over the "food porn" on the new PBS show Everyday Food. They have the recipes at www.pbs.org/everydayfood/ which are mostly pretty fast and simple with not too many ingredients.

Kirsten´s last blog post..Sigh...today is not my day.

That looks so good. Seriously, it's like 5 of my favorite ingredients all mixed up together in one dish.
