Beautiful moon, Dallas. It has been so pretty and bright here as well.
I enjoyed reading of your “cravings” while living abroad. I cannot imagine living without BBQ, Mexican food and maple syrup. I found that the British syrup was not as sweet as ours – probably better for us!!!
Great shot! I tried moon pictures not that long ago and it was a big FAIL! Plus, a cop came along questioning me for standing in the middle of a field, late at night, in the cold.
I use a Nikon D50 and the lens was the Sigma 50-500mm. It was on a tripod. This is what the lens looks like on my camera. http://www.flickr.com/photos/salladnet/2883719429. It my favorite birding lens too. :)

Totally gorgeous!
I love the detail! And the colour!
I saw it bright and shining last night, but I was too tired to screw around with the brightness. So I just enjoyed. But it was oh so lovely!
Do you mind me asking what you used to get it that way?
Camera and gear wise?
:)
