Work in Progress

This is a work in progress. It’s been like this for a couple weeks now and I have not been motivated to touch it.  I think I’ve been looking at this fabric too long.

I was using this quilt as inspiration but only got halfway there. Maybe if I post some WIP photos, that will help light the fire…

    I really like the colors that you have chosen. The lime green makes it “pop”.

    I so enjoyed the colorful photos of the Carnivale people. Can you imagine wearing those wooden shoes all day? Ouch!

    that looks great! I can hardly believe you had some sheets left after your generous giveaway!
    This quilt is calling spring! Imagine a nice warm spring day with the sun shining on this quilt. Maybe it would help with motivation…
    I looked through your sheets yesterday again, splitting them into two piles for two different quilts in mind.

    I love it… super springy and ‘looks’ very cool and crisp. I made a quilt for my husband’s boss for the holidays. I was so involved with it every stitch, ever color match, every off seem was driving me to drink. I was forced to put it down for a week and when I went back, I found the most perfectly beautiful quilt I had ever seen. Step away and go back in a few days… but put it away, do not look at it, put it out of your mind and come back fresh.
