I need to get to bed since we’re going to the airport tomorrow bright and early to pick up a rental car. Thomas’ company lets us rent a car for two weeks in our first month. We’re starting our first week tomorrow.  The tricky part will be trying to find parking. At least they drive on the right side of the road here. :)

Today, we went to Waterloo, which is one of the cities our relocation company recommended for us. After checking it out, we also visited the battlefield of Napolean’s last stand and the Butte of the Lion monument (seen in this entry’s photo). Our first impression of Waterloo was that it was nice, but I don’t think it gives us any advantage to living in the city close to Thomas’ office. His commute to work would still be 40 minutes, and we would be a 45 minute bus ride to Brussels. I think I’d rather be closer to Brussels or his office rather than in neither of them.
