I wish I had more time to draft out some thought-provoking post, but I’m just plain tired. We’ve been spending our free time sorting, disassembling, and moving things around. In the meantime, you get another “just photos” post.
These are a few of my toy VW buses. Actually, these are some of the ones that didn’t make the cut in down-sizing, so I was photographing them before they find a new home.

Aww, happy memories. These shots are from 2003, when Thomas and I joined about 75 other VW Buses on a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The carabus (what VW Bus drivers call caravans) is an annual event following the High Country Bus Festival in Boone, NC.

Why don’t you store the toy buses in your real bus while you’re out of the country? It would be a shame to have to give up part of your collection.
I sent you an instant message about these. If you don’t get it, call me tomorrow. I’ll store these buses for you and for your children to inherit from you. (There’s room in the attic for them, and they won’t be ruined there.) They are very special and would be a treasure for your children to get when they are the right age.

Sallad, I too have a toy VW collection. I will have to post a photo of them one day. They are a ‘happy’ thing. “Buses”. I love your little plastic ones. I am not sure if I have any plastic ones or not. I think mine are all die cast.

Great collection. You should show a pic of the whole VW toy collection that you have. I love Buses i have owned a few and have a a VW Double Cab that i am restoring at the moment and my girls got me a miniature of it.
