Friday night, we made our own pizza for dinner. Thomas decorated it with:
- tomatoes
- basil
- olives
- Italian sausage slices
- mozzarella cheese
It was delicious! I’m also a fan of mushrooms or pineapple, but they didn’t really go with the other ingredients on this pizza. What’s your topping of choice?

Just one? Basil is good, but not without tomatoes, garlic… cheese, please! I like pineapple too, and I’ve even enjoyed cranberries on pizza. So many delicious options. Guess what? We’re having home made pizza tonight… and you’ve got me extra motivated.

I tend to go with mixed shredded cheeses (either italian or mexican blends), and either pepperoni or chicken for a meat. The usual constants are red pepper flake, tomato sauce, celery, and a bit of grated parmesan after it finishes cooking.
My favorite toppings include everything on a Double Dave’s Meat Lover’s Pizza plus mushrooms. Oh, and it has to be deep dish!

Yum!! I love any and all veggies: tomatoes, onions (lots), pesto, spinach, mushrooms, cheese, garlic, and peppers. really I would eat almost anything on a pizza. sometimes I like just pineapple. or taco style pizza with beans and avocado. YUM. now I’m hungry :-D
