I’m participating in Oh Fransson’s Vintage Sheet Patchwork swap, and I spent today cutting, ironing, and folding my fat quarters. This was kind of fun – I found my sheets at a couple local thrift stores, and for about $1.50, I could cut about 6-8 fat quarters from each one.  I was able to find a few different patterns, as you see below.  Check out some of the other sheets being traded in this swap.

I obviously failed cutting in a straight line in Kindergarten because I now have a pile of scraps that are just shy of a fat quarter – 18″x22″.  If anyone really wants some of the bigger scraps, just let me know.  I also kept a couple fat quarters for myself to use in some projects.

When I was at my parent’s house in May, I raided my Mom’s linen closet and pulled out these sheets.  I think I’m going to use these for a quilt for our bed – I really like this design I found online.
