I was tagged by both Handknit by Mikaiya and Natalie of ChickenBlog this week with this meme, so I guess I need to fill it out. I’m also posting a few random photos I’ve taken around the yard.
What was I doing 10 years ago?
I’m keeping this answer short because I’ve been thinking about posting something like this – what was I doing 1 year, 2 years, 5 years, 10 years, 20 years, and 30 years ago. Now that I’ve said that, I guess I’ll try and post it next week. In the meantime, 10 years ago, I was just returning from my first college internship…in France. More next week. :)

What are 5 things on my to-do list for today?
My day is winding up, so I’ll answer it for this weekend…
- See my friends – Thomas and I have been anti-social lately, so we’re trying to get our friends together for dinner, or hanging out at a park, or both.
- Work on my strip quilt that I started this week
- Dog-sit Maisy – she came over tonight and Clover is trying so hard to get her to play with her. Hopefully I can get some cute photos this weekend.
- Teach the little kids class at church
- Mail the Wii in to Nintendo for repairs – we can’t get our Fit to sync
Snacks I enjoy:
I like cheesy things, salty things, bready things, and meaty things. I’m not a huge sweets person, and I’m not usually a snacker. I’m just really bad with portion sizes at meal times.
Things I would do if I were a billionaire:
I would travel – there are a ton of places that I would love to go see, except for the cost and vacation time needed. Included are: Antartica, Africa, Japan, India, Dubai, Nova Scotia, etc.

Places I have lived:
I had 13 years in Boca Raton, Fl. I survived there, and then next 8 years was in the Raleigh/Durham, NC area. Grad school took me up to Indiana, and we’ve been in Atlanta for almost 3 years. I don’t remember my first two years, so I’m not counting them.
Jobs I have had:
Some of my more unusual jobs were a documentary researcher (I just found out that the company I worked for now makes Jon and Kate Plus Eight), Planetarium Gift Shop Salesperson, and ticket trader at the Cannes International Film Festival. Actually those were all while I was an undergraduate in college. I’m currently an instructional designer, which means I design online training for the corporate world.

I told Jane I would tag her, since she hasn’t posted on her blog in a bit, but if anyone else wants to participate, let me know and I’ll go check out what you wrote.

The first two photos are great. The mushroom and the wasp feel like I could reach out and touch them. (Or in the case of the wasp, back up very slowly.)I was thinking the other day that I could really see your photography skills developing. Nice.
