I’m sorry to bombard you this week with so many posts – almost 2 a day. I promise to slow down next week. I’m feeling over-blogged too, but it’s just because I had so many photographed events last weekend. The only thing on my calendar for this weekend is another birding field trip, which may very well get rained out.

So on with Thursday of Color Week – it’s pink and red.

This is my makeup holder. I have very minimal makeup skills, but I’m not real big on fashion.  I’m sure my mom would love to submit me to What Not to Wear. As you can see in this photo, I have Dr. Pepper-flavored chapstick, which actually has a nice red tint…and tastes good.  It was my favorite until I discovered Burt’s Bees Pomegranite chapstick, which is a little nicer in the tint and smell.

Red Teacup

I’m borrowing this teacup from my Mom. She had it set aside and wasn’t displaying it, and I thought it was pretty, so now it’s sitting on the dresser in our guest room.

Check out the other Color Week participants at Curious Bird. Tomorrow is the last day – blue!
