March is the month of craftiness. And you might think I’ve gone a little crazy with the craft swap bug, but I’m feeling determined. I love crafting, but when I try to make something for myself, I have a hard time getting started. I can stay much more focused when it’s for someone else. So, to make sure I get some good crafting-time in, I’ve signed up for a few swaps.
- Fabric Postcard – I’ve got my swap partner for this one, and I have until March 31 to send my card. I’ve already got my design in mind and have started making it.
- Bird Inchies – For this swap, I need to make inchies (1 inch by 1 inch pieces of art). They can be made out of anything, like fabric or paper. The theme is one of my favorites – birds. The deadline for this one is also March 31, but I’ve got my design and have started making them.
- Tote Swaparooni – This one isn’t a craft swap, but tote swap – I suppose it could be hand crafted. I signed up for this one because in all of the bags I’ve made, I’ve kept very few, and I could really use another tote. I have my swap partner for this one, but I don’t know what I’m going to send yet. I have until March 31.
- Notecards – Yes, I just finished hosting a greeting card swap, but I’m feeling inspired now, and I know what I’m doing, and this time I’m not hosting. So I’ll be sending in some handmade notecards by March 31.
- Embroidered Buttons – I watched this swap last year and loved seeing the fantastic buttons they swapped, but I didn’t know how to embroider then. Now that I’ve started learning, I figured I could attempt this. These have to be sent in by May 10.
So hopefully, the weather wont’ become too nice before I get these all completed. Are you participating in any swaps?
