It’s been a good weekend. Other than getting bicycles, here’s some of the things we did:

  • Babies - I met Carrollee’s new baby boy. Max is a week old, and the youngest person I’ve ever met. He was very cute with a full head of black hair, just like his Mom and Dad.
  • Birds – I hung up our hummingbird feeder after seeing a few flying around the garage. I haven’t seen any at the feeder yet, but my aunt sent me a very impressive video of the hummingbirds at her feeder in Texas. She has a ton of them.
  • Buses – I drove all the way home from church in a Little Miss Sunshine style. Remember in the movie when they couldn’t get the VW bus horn to stop honking? Yeah, well, that’s a true issue on buses occasionally. Needless to say, it’s embarrassing.
  • Fabric – I’ve been organizing my fabric stash and moving it to some shelves downstairs, since that’s where my sewing machine is now. I’ll post photos when I’m done.
  • Friends – We’ve been cleaning house as we’re expecting company in a couple of weeks. A friend from graduate school is bringing her mother and sister from Singapore to visit, and they’re going to stop by Atlanta for a weekend.
  • Commute – My office at work moved to Alpharetta, so starting tomorrow, I have a new commute to the North.
