I don’t have anything terribly exciting to post. Last night, our cable and Internet was out, but Thomas and I both worked on our computers with various projects – checking every 10 minutes to see if our connection was back. We’re boring…and addicted.
Tonight, I rearranged the Wreck Room (I call it Wreck Room, rather than Rec Room, because it’s usually in a wreck). We’ve had the room in all kinds of configurations, but I’m pleased with this one. The room originally housed our bookcases and a futon.
As time passed, Thomas and I decided that we didn’t like separate offices upstairs, so we both moved our computers into the Wreck Room. Then all of my crafty stuff was stuck upstairs and I never wanted to use it. Tonight I finally moved my sewing machine down here too. And now, after a few different desk arrangements, we’re settled…for now.
So now there are two empty rooms upstairs, and the bookcase and futon are both disassembled and stored in the guest room. This space looks smaller in the second photo, but the original room was useless. Plus we still have a lot of clutter to get rid of.
Also, twelve years ago today, my family moved from South Florida to North Carolina. They’re still there. And Happy Birthday, Georgy!!!

Thank you for remembering the anniversary of our move to Cary. I didn’t. How quickly 12 years go by. We only lived in Boca Raton for 15 years, and they were so much more memorable. Time here has flown, and I’ve still not unpacked. Guess I might as well stay now.
hi nice post, i enjoyed it
