This morning was Carrollee’s Baby Shower Brunch. Alison hosted it and we played Mad Libs and painted onesies. The food was delicious. I played camera woman. Here are the albums I’ve posted:
Here’s Carrollee – the hip mama
Part of my gift was two handmade items – a burp cloth and a bib. They were pretty easy to sew and quick too. I’d make burp clothes in the future, but the bib was hard because I wasn’t sure the width of a baby’s neck. I used soft flannel for one side of each item, and quilting cotton for the other side.

What a great idea, giving handmade gifts. In my opinion those mean the most, knowing that somebody took the time and effort as well as love to make the item. I love the burp clothe as well as the patterns you used for it! You can never have too many of those, speaking from experience I am a mom of 2.
